Prices shown are in euros, all taxes included, Belgian VAT included. They include delivery within a radius of 30 kilometres around Brussels. Beyond that zone, a surcharge of €0.30 per additional kilometre applies; this amount is communicated to the customer and accepted by them before any order is confirmed.
The product sold is water softener salt, packaged in bags, compliant with standard NBN EN 973 type A.
The order form on the site constitutes a request and not a firm sale. Every order is followed by a confirmation phone call, during which the contents of the order, the delivery address, the time slot and, where applicable, the distance surcharge are confirmed. The sale is only concluded once that confirmation has taken place.
Delivery includes transport and setting the bags down at the place indicated by the customer, provided access is passable and safe. The customer ensures that access is clear at the time of delivery. Stated lead times are indicative and agreed on a case-by-case basis during the confirmation call.
Payment is made on delivery, by bank transfer or in cash. A compliant invoice stating VAT is handed over or sent to the customer. No payment is collected through the site.
In accordance with the Belgian Code of Economic Law, consumers have fourteen calendar days to withdraw from a distance contract, without having to give reasons. Products must be returned in their original condition and packaging. Return costs are borne by the customer, except where the product is non-compliant or damaged.
A bag that has been opened or started cannot be taken back: salt draws in moisture as soon as the bag is open and is no longer guaranteed for a water softener. A bag that arrives damaged or non-compliant is replaced free of charge, without discussion.
Any complaint about a damaged or non-compliant product must be reported as soon as possible, and at the latest within two months of discovery, by phone or email using the details above. The statutory guarantee of conformity applies.
The data submitted through the order form, namely name, phone, email, delivery address and access instructions, is collected by TECHAVANCE for the sole purpose of processing the order, arranging delivery and issuing the invoice. It is neither sold nor passed on to third parties for commercial purposes.
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation, customers have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection. These rights may be exercised by simple request to kamal.makhoute@gmail.com.
Data is kept for as long as necessary to process the order and for the statutory retention period applying to accounting records.
To run the site, TECHAVANCE relies on the following processors, which act on instruction and use the data for no purpose of their own: Vercel Inc. (page hosting), Supabase (database hosted in Europe, in Paris, where orders are stored) and OpenRouter (the site assistant, which receives the text of the conversation). An email delivery service will be added to this list once it is put into use. The pages also load the Jost typeface from Google Fonts, which passes the visitor's IP address to Google.
This site sets no advertising cookies, no third-party trackers and does not measure its audience. The browser only keeps, on the visitor's device, the chosen language and the thread of the conversation with the assistant. That information never leaves the device. Loading the Jost typeface from Google Fonts does, however, pass the visitor's IP address to Google, without setting a cookie.
The KingSalt brand, its logo, its texts and its images are the property of TECHAVANCE. Any reproduction, even partial, is prohibited without prior written permission.
These terms are governed by Belgian law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought first. Failing that, the competent courts are those of the district of TECHAVANCE's registered office.
