Over 99.6 % sodium chloride, additive-free: a salt that dissolves cleanly, protects the resin and keeps your unit efficient year after year.
Granular salt forms crusts that block regeneration without anyone noticing: the tank looks full, but the water turns hard again. Tablets dissolve evenly, from the top down.
A purity above 99.6 % leaves few insolubles behind. Less sediment means a tank to clean less often and a valve that clogs up more slowly.
Standard NBN EN 973 type A governs the products used to treat water intended for human consumption. That is the benchmark to insist on, whoever your supplier is.
A properly supplied softener protects the boiler, the plumbing and the household appliances. Limescale insulates heating elements, which then run longer for the same result.
